According to a report from Jinse Finance, on-chain detective ZachXBT revealed that Senators Warren and Reed accused World Liberty Financial of having $10,000 in its token sales from illegal sources, which only accounts for 0.0018% of the total fundraising amount of $550 million. ZachXBT pointed out on social media that this ratio is not statistically significant. According to previous reports, U.S. senators have called for an investigation into the Trump family's associated crypto project World Liberty Financial, claiming it sold $WLFI governance tokens to various highly suspicious entities, including traders linked to the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group, sanction-evading tools supported by sanctioned Russian rubles, Iranian cryptocurrency exchanges, and the money laundering platform Tornado Cash, involving national security risks.
