On April 20, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams expressed his views on Ethereum L1 scaling, stating, "I fully support the improvements for L1 scaling; in fact, a rollup-centric roadmap does need it. However, I oppose the contradictory views that claim Ethereum is pursuing a Rollup-centric route while demanding that all important functions remain on L1; needing L2 for scaling while refusing to provide support for vague reasons like ecological alignment. The industry needs to clearly choose a technical route and start managing the associated risks, rather than hastily changing narratives and strategies every month. I also oppose the compromise of wanting all solutions—this is probably worse than not choosing any route at all."
