The Argentine Chamber of Deputies will establish a special committee to investigate President Milei's involvement in the LIBRA encryption scandal.
According to Decrypt, the Argentine House of Representatives passed a resolution on Tuesday with 128 votes in favor and 93 against to establish a special committee to investigate President Milei’s involvement in the LIBRA encryption scandal. The committee will summon high-ranking officials such as Economy Minister Luis Caputo and Justice Minister Mariano Cúneo Libarona to investigate the LIBRA meme coin crash event promoted by Milei in February on the Solana chain. Currently, the congressional investigation is proceeding in parallel with the judicial investigation, and a New York law firm has also initiated a lawsuit this month to gather investors.
