According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on April 4th, the hybrid Layer2 project BOB (Build on Bitcoin) announced that it has successfully integrated the cross-chain interoperability protocol deBridge. BOB will be the first Bitcoin Layer2 supported by deBridge.
deBridge is a secure interoperability layer for Web3, enabling decentralized transmission of arbitrary messages and values across different blockchains.
Through this integration, connections have been established with over 20 EVM and non-EVM public chain ecosystems (such as Solana, Berachain, Hyperliquid, Sonic, etc.) and the BOB ecosystem. Users can freely conduct seamless cross-chain transactions and conversions of assets and data from these chains through deBridge. This will unlock new liquidity routes for Bitcoin DeFi, break down barriers between the Bitcoin ecosystem and other public chains, and marks an important step forward for the Bitcoin network in building an interoperable ecosystem.
