März: Die US-Senatorin Elizabeth Warren hat an MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) und den CEO von Beast Industries, Jeff Housenbold, geschrieben und verlangt, dass sie Informationen über ihre Aktivitäten im Bereich Jugendfinanzen und Kryptowährungen offenlegen. Dieser Schritt erfolgte, nachdem Beast Industries im Februar dieses Jahres das Fintech-Unternehmen Step übernommen hatte, das Minderjährigen unter Aufsicht der Eltern den Zugang zu Krypto-Investitionsfunktionen ermöglichte. Warren betonte in ihrem Schreiben, dass Finanzdienstleistungen für Jugendliche streng den geltenden Gesetzen entsprechen müssen.
