BlockBeats Nachrichten, 26. März: Der britische Premierminister Rishi Sunak kündigte an, eine Aussetzung für politische Parteien bei der Annahme von Kryptowährungs-Spenden zu verhängen. Begründung sind Risiken illegaler Finanzierungen und ausländischer Einflussnahme, während gleichzeitig die Regulierung politischer Spenden verschärft wird. Zuvor wurde Nathan Gill, ehemaliger Führer der Reform Party in Wales, zu zehn Jahren und sechs Monaten Haft verurteilt, weil er Kryptowährungsbestechung angenommen hatte.
