Gate News Nachrichten, 21. März, laut Coingecko-Daten beträgt die Marktkapitalisierung des GameFi-Sektors vorübergehend 4,515 Milliarden US-Dollar. FLOKI belegt mit einer Marktkapitalisierung von 286 Millionen US-Dollar den ersten Platz, The Sandbox mit 218 Millionen US-Dollar den zweiten Platz, Undeads Games mit 211 Millionen US-Dollar den dritten Platz. Zuvor hatte Lily Liu, Vorsitzende der Solana Foundation, erklärt, dass Blockchain-Spiele „nicht mehr zurückkehren werden“ und dass die tatsächliche Leistung weit hinter den Erwartungen zurückbleibt. Außerdem haben Institutionen wie Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Framework Ventures und Animoca Brands Milliarden von Dollar in diesen Bereich investiert.
