Just found out that ZeroLend has closed after operating for 3 years. There are quite a few reasons - some blockchains they supported became less liquid, and oracle providers also started pulling support. Even worse, as the protocol began to grow, many hackers and scammers started to get interested. So now, this platform is focusing on securely withdrawing user assets. They said that for assets on chains like Manta, Zircuit, and Xlayer, liquidity has dropped drastically. Some user funds are stuck in less liquid or inactive areas. Now they are upgrading the timelock in the smart contract to redistribute the affected assets. It's also quite sad for those who were victims of the Linea attack last year - they will receive a partial refund from the LINEA airdrop allocation received by the team. This is a reminder that crypto still carries many risks, from liquidity to security. Have you ever experienced a situation like this?
