Golden Finance reports that on April 24, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin’s monitoring, Aave coordinated the establishment of “DeFi United” to recover and rescue rsETH. So far, it has obtained 30,000 ETH in loans (from Mantle) and 13,500 ETH in donations (from Aave’s founders, Etherfi, Lido, etc.), which has already covered 43,500 ETH worth of losses (total rsETH loss of 68,900 ETH). This has indeed had a fairly noticeable effect on restoring confidence in Aave: over the past few hours, funds on Aave have not continued to flow out. The total deposits on Aave are now $28.6 billion, down $17.2 billion compared with before the rsETH incident. If funds do not continue to flow out, then the rsETH incident has caused Aave to lose 37% of its funds.
