Golden Finance reports that on April 23, White House Press Secretary Karine Leavitt stated that U.S. President Trump does not believe that Iran’s seizure of the ships “MSC Francesca” and “Epaminodes” violates the ceasefire framework, reasoning that these ships are not American or Israeli vessels. She also added that such actions are merely piracy.
