The United States expands sanctions list against Iran involving individuals, companies, and aviation assets

Golden Finance reports that on April 22nd, local time April 21st, according to U.S. Department of the Treasury documents, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) updated the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list, adding multiple Iranian individuals, companies, and aviation assets involved in counter-terrorism and non-proliferation sanctions. Overall, this sanctions action not only targets entities within Iran but also covers its transnational business networks in the Middle East and surrounding regions, demonstrating the United States’ continued efforts to strengthen restrictions on Iranian-related funds, logistics, and aviation systems.
