Others think that clicking "Confirm" means waiting for it to be on the chain, just like ordering takeout and getting it immediately; in reality, your transaction first queues in the mempool, and when it's congested, it's like rush hour on the subway—if the gas fee is too low, it might stay waiting, or even be replaced by the same transaction. When you look back and wonder "Why hasn't it moved yet"… it's quite frustrating. Recently, I've seen everyone complain that validators make a lot of money and that MEV ordering is unfair, and I can understand that—it's the feeling of submitting first but getting cut in line. My approach is a bit more old-fashioned: if you're in a hurry, add a little more fee; if not, just treat it as queuing. After a walk, come back and check the status—don't let your emotions get congested along with the block.
