The $RAVE story isn’t just another “rug” it’s a blueprint for how broken parts of this market still are. 👀

Here’s what actually happened: 🤑
$RAVE reportedly spent around $75K to spin up 10.5K low-value wallets (each holding under $10).😂
On paper, that looks like “distribution.”
In reality, it’s manufactured decentralization.
That was enough to pass listing filters on major exchanges.
Then things escalated fast:
• Liquidity came in
• Narrative kicked off
• FDV pushed toward $27B
And right when retail started believing the move… insiders exited.
What followed wasn’t surprising:
A violent unwind, liquidity vacuum, and late buyers left holding the illusion.
The real takeaway isn’t the number… it’s the method.
This wasn’t luck.
It was structure.
A Sybil-style setup created fake demand, fake distribution, and real exit liquidity.
And here’s the uncomfortable part:
Exchanges aren’t blind to this.
They see wallet clustering.
They see behavior patterns.
They understand distribution quality.
But listings are still happening.
Why?
Because incentives aren’t aligned with protection.
If the space wants to mature, some basic filters aren’t optional anymore:
• Minimum wallet value thresholds (dust wallets ≠ users)
• Cap on top holder concentration
• Real-time post-listing distribution monitoring
• Behavioral analytics, not just wallet counts
Without that, we’ll keep seeing the same cycle:
Fake decentralization → hype → listing → exit → collapse
Different ticker, same script.
$RAVE isn’t the last example.
It’s just the most obvious one.
Until accountability catches up, “fair launch” will keep being one of the most abused narratives in crypto.
