Can BTC still go up? Where will it rise to this time? If it does rise, where should you take the short positions you currently hold?
At present, BTC has pulled back by more than 2,000 points near the 76,000 mark, which fully matches the expectation Tuso said previously. So, where should we take profits on this short? First, I suggest taking some profits around 73,300 and placing stops at breakeven, because the gap above still hasn’t been filled, and there’s a high likelihood that price will keep moving up to around 78,000.
I’ve said there isn’t much time left for BTC. The bear market has already passed halfway. If we don’t fill the upper liquidity gap and instead go straight to probing new lows, it just doesn’t make sense and doesn’t fit the technical trend.
What about the trend for precious metals? Will they keep going up all the time?
How is this round of gold and silver catching up? It’s because tensions in the Strait of Hormuz have eased. So, will precious metals rise again before this round of negotiations is completed? Personally, I think if the US and Iran negotiate successfully and completely reopen the Strait of Hormuz, there may be some additional catch-up gains, but there’s no way it can rise that much. Oil’s liquidity has returned to gold, but once the “chaos” ends, gold’s narrative environment will start to become more delicate. “Rising” is only for the moment—“volatility” is what will truly define gold’s direction afterward.
