The People's Daily of China published an article criticizing "Hundredfold Coin" and other traffic diversion behaviors that spread false profit information
Mars Finance reports that on April 14, the People’s Daily published an article titled “Disrupting the Capital Market: Be Alert to These Irregularities in Financial Self-Media Accounts.” The article specifically named some accounts that attract traffic to virtual-coin trading by posting false profit information such as “100x coins” and “millions in monthly profits from crypto trading.”
The article once again cited a prior notice jointly issued by the People’s Bank of China and eight other departments, emphasizing that businesses and activities related to virtual currencies constitute illegal financial activity. It also pointed out that accounts and platforms that provide traffic and technical services for illegal virtual-coin trading are suspected of violating laws and regulations, which may threaten financial security and AML work.
