On the 11th local time, Iran's government spokesperson, Mrs. Fatemeh Mohajerani, stated that Tehran sending a diplomatic delegation led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to negotiate with the U.S. is a clear sign of good faith in dialogue.

She emphasized that, as previously stated by President Masoud Pezeshkian, Iran will enter negotiations with a "finger on the trigger" – meaning always ready but not complacent.

Although open to dialogue, Tehran still maintains a certain level of skepticism towards the other side. Therefore, the Iranian delegation will participate with the utmost caution. The spokesperson also expressed hope that, under the leadership of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the negotiation process will achieve positive results.
