TSMC’s March revenue hit NT$415.2 billion, setting a record high; up 45.2% year over year, with the first quarter surpassing NT$1.1 trillion

TSMC(TSMC)announced its March 2026 revenue report on April 10. March consolidated revenue was approximately NT$415.191 billion, up 30.7% from the previous month, and up 45.2% year over year, once again setting a new record for monthly revenue.

Single-month revenue surpasses NT$410 billion

TSMC’s March revenue reached NT$415.91 billion and 91 million—marking the first time in the company’s history that monthly revenue has exceeded the NT$400 billion threshold. Compared with February’s NT$317.657 billion, the month-over-month growth was 30.7%, reflecting the full restoration of capacity after the Lunar New Year and continued strong demand related to AI.

Compared with the same period last year (March 2025 revenue of NT$285.957 billion), year-over-year growth was as high as 45.2%, continuing the rapid growth momentum that has been in place since the second half of 2024.

First-quarter cumulative revenue up 35.1%

Cumulative revenue for 1Q 2026 (January to March) was approximately NT$1.134103 trillion, up 35.1% from NT$839.254 billion in the same period last year. First-quarter revenue has already surpassed NT$1.1 trillion, indicating that demand for AI chips remains strong even after entering 2026.

AI demand continues to drive growth

TSMC’s rapid growth in revenue mainly benefits from demand for advanced processes driven by the expansion of global AI infrastructure. As major technology companies continue to expand investments in AI data centers, utilization rates for TSMC’s 3-nanometer and 5-nanometer process capacities have remained at high levels. The market expects that as new-generation AI accelerators move into mass production in the second half, TSMC’s growth momentum will further continue.
