Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Promote national high-tech zones to accelerate the deployment of intelligent computing infrastructure and build high-quality datasets
Mars Finance News: On April 10, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a press conference on “Promoting High-Quality Development of National High-Tech Zones.” Wu Jiaxi, Deputy Director of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that moving forward, we will deeply implement the “Artificial Intelligence+” initiative and the digital transformation of manufacturing, comprehensively enhance the development level of the artificial intelligence industry in national high-tech zones, accelerate the creation of a new form of intelligent economy, and contribute high-tech strength to China’s artificial intelligence development. Focus on three “improvements”:
First, improve innovation source capability. Support high-tech zones with strong artificial intelligence advantages to strengthen original innovation and tackle key core technologies, achieving a batch of original results in frontier fields such as underlying algorithms, brain-like intelligence, and world models. Encourage high-tech zones to accelerate exploration of new research paradigms driven by artificial intelligence and new technology R&D models, and build open-source communities for artificial intelligence.
Second, enhance industrial competitiveness. Promote high-tech zones to cultivate a group of leading artificial intelligence enterprises, accelerate the growth of key new tracks in artificial intelligence, proactively layout distinctive new business forms and models driven by intelligent native technologies, and build internationally competitive artificial intelligence industry clusters. Establish and utilize the artificial intelligence industry collaborative innovation network in high-tech zones, strengthen cross-regional park cooperation, continuously deepen exchanges and connections, and promote efficient integration of industrial resources.
Third, improve application empowerment levels. Accelerate the deployment of intelligent computing facilities in high-tech zones, build high-quality datasets, and solidify the foundation for digital and intelligent development. Encourage high-tech zones to regularly release lists of artificial intelligence scenarios, create landmark application scenarios, and promote large-scale application of new AI technologies and products. Support high-tech zones in building high-standard digital parks, promote digital transformation of manufacturing, improve the digital level of park management and services, and develop a number of replicable and promotable typical models of digital empowerment parks.
