Traders say that the recent surge in the US stock market is mainly due to short covering rather than the prospects of peace with Iran.

Golden Finance reports that on April 1, some major trading teams on Wall Street said that the extremely bearish positioning before the end of the quarter was the main driver behind Tuesday’s sharp rebound in U.S. stocks, rather than any change in investors’ views on a war with Iran.
