Wow, I just came across an update from Arkham Intelligence that really puzzled me. They added analysis of the suspected addresses of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto to their platform, and the numbers are simply impressive.

According to analysts, Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet contains exactly 1,096,354 bitcoins. At the current price of $66.86K, that's approximately $108.8 billion. For context: this makes Satoshi the 14th richest person on the planet according to Forbes, surpassing figures like Michael Dell, Bill Gates, and Michael Bloomberg.

How did they figure this out? Arkham used the so-called "Patoshi Pattern"—a 2013 study that identified a unique pattern in blocks mined by the BTC creator. It resulted in 22,000 addresses linked to Satoshi. This accounts for 5.22% of all bitcoins in circulation.

What amazes me most: the last activity from this Satoshi Nakamoto wallet was in July 2010. 16 years of silence. During this period, they tracked 13 transactions, including the famous 10 BTC to Hal Finney and several transfers to other developers.

Interestingly, despite this data, no one still knows who is really behind the pseudonym. Some theories suggest Satoshi might have other wallets, but for now, it's all speculation. Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet remains one of the most mysterious stories in crypto.

In any case, it's fascinating to see how analytical companies like Arkham continue to uncover hidden layers of the blockchain. All of this can be tracked in real-time on Gate.
