Iran claims to have shot down two U.S. military refueling aircraft

Golden Finance reports that on March 28, according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, a spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base stated that two enemy refueling aircraft were shot down and one support vessel of the U.S. military was attacked. The spokesperson said that since the evening of the 27th, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched missile attacks on a U.S. military base located in Ha’il, Saudi Arabia, resulting in two of the five U.S. refueling aircraft being completely destroyed, while the other three were severely damaged and lost their combat capability.
