Gate releases the latest reserve report: covering nearly 500 types of user assets, with a BTC reserve ratio of up to 147%

According to the official announcement, Gate has released a new reserve report. As of March 16, 2026, the overall reserve coverage ratio is 122%, significantly above the industry safety standard of 100%. The reserves cover nearly 500 different types of user assets, demonstrating the platform’s sufficient redundancy and robust risk hedging capabilities in market volatility environments.

In terms of core assets, user holdings of BTC amount to 17,216 coins, with the platform holding 25,404 coins in reserve, increasing the excess reserve ratio from 40.69% to 47.56%. ETH user assets have grown from 337,565 coins to 358,121 coins, with platform reserves rising from 419,320 to 439,611 coins, maintaining an excess reserve ratio of 22.75%. For stablecoins, USDT user assets increased from 1.385 billion to 1.451 billion coins, with platform reserves at 1.477 billion coins, an excess reserve ratio of 1.79%. USDC user assets are 122 million coins, with platform reserves at 134 million coins, an excess ratio of 10.18%. GUSD user assets are 108 million coins, with platform reserves at 320 million coins, an excess ratio of 196.50%.

Additionally, reserves for major assets like GT and XRP are also significantly above the 100% reserve standard, reaching 136.84% and 116.54%, respectively, further strengthening the platform’s overall asset security.
