According to 1M AI News monitoring, the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has officially written to Meta regarding the user data processing of Meta Ray-Ban AI glasses, requesting an explanation of their practices. Previously, Swedish media investigations revealed that employees of a Kenyan outsourcing company saw users’ private images while annotating data for AI features. The ICO described the report as “concerning.”
