Last night, gold was precisely pressured within the range of 5205~5215 that we provided. The market touched around 5205 early this morning and retreated as expected, perfectly confirming our high-altitude shorting forecast. The strong resistance within this range and subsequent pullback align with our bearish trend judgment.

From the news perspective, US non-farm employment data exceeded expectations, reinforcing the market's anticipation of the Federal Reserve maintaining high interest rates. The dollar and US Treasury yields rebounded, putting pressure on gold prices. Meanwhile, geopolitical risks have eased, and the decline in safe-haven demand has also provided momentum for gold's correction.

Looking at the 1-hour BOLL indicator, the price is currently oscillating near the middle band, with the upper band still exerting pressure around 5200, and the lower support around 5160. Short-term moving averages are flat, with bullish and bearish forces temporarily balanced, but the overall bearish structure remains intact.

This morning's core strategy continues to favor short positions, relying on key resistance levels. Resistance above is at 5195-5200; if a rebound encounters resistance, continue to short with targets at 5175-5170. Support below is at 5170-5165; if a pullback stabilizes, consider short-term long positions for a rebound, with targets at 5185-5190. Strict stop-loss is set for risk control.
