Supreme Court: Supports investor protection agencies to file ordinary representative lawsuits against delisted listed companies

On February 24, Wang Chaohui, Deputy Chief of the Civil Second Division of the Supreme People’s Court, stated at a press conference that most cases in the capital market involve defendants such as controlling shareholders or actual controllers of listed companies, securities firms, accounting firms, and other intermediary agencies. In response, the people’s courts actively promote creditor dispute special representative litigation and support the development of ordinary representative litigation. The courts support investor protection agencies in filing ordinary representative lawsuits against multiple ST companies, *ST companies, and delisted listed companies, providing more convenient and lower-cost remedies for investor rights protection.
