Dassault Systèmes announced that CEO Pascal Daloz will replace co-founder Bernard Charles as executive chairman.
The French software company stated on Saturday that Charles would step down from his board positions and resign as executive chairman for personal reasons.
Charles expressed confidence in CEO Daloz to assume the role, having worked with him for 25 years. The co-founder will continue to be involved with Dassault’s artificial intelligence initiative, 3D UNIV+RSES.
Dassault said in June that it plans to double earnings—excluding exceptional items—by 2029 through scaling up its AI project and capital allocation strategies such as mergers and acquisitions.
