February 5, 2026, China’s Special Envoy for Middle East Issues, Zhai Jun, met with François Acks, Director of the Near and Middle East Department of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The two sides exchanged views on the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Syria, and Yemen.
