Abstract generation in progress

The US Army is giving RTX another chance to compete in its Launched Effects-Short Range (LE-SR) programme, despite previously identified deficiencies with its Coyote Block 3 system. While AEVEX Aerospace Atlas Group II and Anduril Industries’ Altius 600 were selected for initial fielding, the Army plans to assess RTX’s corrective actions in 2026 for potential future contracts. The goal is to field unmanned aircraft system launched effects to all active-duty units by the end of fiscal year 2026.
