New Progress in China's Security Assurance During the 14th Five-Year Plan Period

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China’s comprehensive grain production capacity continued to improve, with total grain output increasing from 1.37 trillion jin in 2021 to 1.43 trillion jin in 2025. The Chinese people’s rice bowl remains firmly in their own hands. A diversified energy supply system has been established, with primary energy production increasing by an average of 5% annually. The resilience and safety level of the industrial chain and supply chain have steadily improved, with manufacturing value added growing an average of 5.5% annually. The domestication rate of equipment manufacturing continues to rise, with domestic manufacturing accounting for over 95% of the total supply in electrical machinery and transportation equipment.
