Foreign tourists no longer just sightseeing; "Celebrating the Chinese New Year in China" has become a new global trend

With the continued optimization of visa-free policies and consumption-boosting measures, both inbound and outbound tourism saw growth during this year’s Spring Festival holiday. According to forecasts, the average daily inbound and outbound travelers at national ports will exceed 2.05 million during the Spring Festival holiday, a 14.1% increase compared to last year’s holiday. Additionally, data shows that foreign tourists’ flight bookings for the Spring Festival have surged more than fourfold year-on-year. As inbound tourism continues to heat up, celebrating the Spring Festival in China has become a new trend, with more and more foreign tourists embarking on a special journey to China. (CCTV News)
