The latest data indicates that from February 9 to 15, over 15,770 cases were reported by more than 3,000 designated medical institutions across Japan, averaging 41.44 cases per institution. Due to the spread of influenza, as of February 15, a total of 8,174 kindergartens, nurseries, elementary, and middle schools across Japan have suspended classes entirely or partially for certain grades or classes.
