What is a Fund Password and Why You Need It

A Fund Password functions as a separate verification checkpoint beyond your standard login credentials. Unlike your account login password, this dedicated password is specifically designed to protect critical transactions such as asset withdrawals and security-sensitive operations. By maintaining this dual-password system, your account gains an extra security barrier that significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized fund access, even if someone manages to compromise your primary login credentials.

How to Set Up Your Fund Password

Setting up your Fund Password is a straightforward process that takes just a few minutes. Begin by accessing the Account & Security section—simply hover over your profile icon located in the upper right corner of your dashboard. Navigate to Advanced Protection, then select Fund Password → Settings. When prompted, enter your desired Fund Password and confirm it. Remember these important requirements:

• Your Fund Password must differ from your login password
• Create a password containing 8-30 characters
• Include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number

After entering your Fund Password, proceed to complete the security verification process and confirm your selection. Once you’ve successfully navigated through these steps, your Fund Password is now active and protecting your account.

Managing Your Fund Password: Change, Disable, and Reset Options

You have complete flexibility in managing your Fund Password settings. Located next to your Fund Password in Advanced Protection, you’ll find both Change and Disable options. If you decide to modify your Fund Password, keep in mind an important restriction: you won’t be able to withdraw your assets for 24 hours following the reset.

If you forget your Fund Password, two convenient recovery paths are available. First, you can click on “Having problems with verification?” within the Disable Fund Password window. Alternatively, select “Forgot Fund Password” from the Change Fund Password window. Either action will redirect you to the Reset Security Settings page, where you should select the Fund Password reset option and click Confirm. You’ll then need to complete the required security verification procedures.

The reset process typically involves security checks that may take 1-2 working days to complete. Your registered email address will receive detailed instructions and updates regarding your reset request. Depending on your account’s security profile, additional verification steps may be necessary to finalize your Fund Password reset.
