Why is the fireworks and firecracker industry doing so poorly?

A few days ago, I bought some fireworks for my kids at home, a little of each, and it cost a few hundred yuan in total. Today is the first day my nephew came over, and they’re almost all burned out. I was thinking these things are pretty expensive, the firework sellers must have made a lot of money. But then I looked online and found that due to environmental restrictions, safety hazards, policies, and changing consumer attitudes, the authentic fireworks and firecrackers’ first stock, and the only one in the A-shares market, has already been ST’ed, with a market value of only about 1 billion yuan.
