Japan's exports to the US decline year-on-year for two consecutive months

The Japanese Ministry of Finance announced trade statistics on the 18th, showing that due to U.S. tariff policies, Japan’s exports to the U.S. decreased year-on-year for the second consecutive month in January. Data indicates that exports of pharmaceuticals, automobiles, metal processing machinery, and other products declined, with Japan’s January exports to the U.S. falling 5% year-on-year to 1.46 trillion yen (approximately 156.91 yen per US dollar).
