As of February 5, 2026, the total inventory of sample enterprises in the float glass industry nationwide is 53.064 million weight boxes, an increase of 500,000 weight boxes from the previous period, a month-on-month increase of 0.95%, and a year-on-year decrease of 11.77%. The inventory turnover days are 23.1 days, an increase of 0.3 days from the previous period. This week, enterprises in North China continued the downward trend in inventory, with the decline narrowing. In Shahré, the focus remains on pickup and stocking, with enterprise inventories dropping to low levels, some almost depleted. In the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan area, downstream demand combined with a small amount of stocking, and overall enterprise shipments are relatively good, leading to a decrease in inventory. In Central China, there are differences in shipment and inventory among enterprises; only a few enterprises have a significant decrease in inventory due to warehouse receipt shipments. Although some enterprises have flexibly increased shipments to boost sales, the overall market shipment performance remains dull. (Longzhong Information)
