According to the Ministry of Transport, yesterday the total cross-regional passenger flow across the country was expected to exceed 352 million trips, a 3.7% increase compared to the previous period and a 12.0% increase compared to the same period in 2025. In terms of railways, an estimated 15 million passengers were transported yesterday, a 10.8% increase from the previous period and a 12.1% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Road passenger flow yesterday was expected to surpass 332 million trips, a 3.4% increase compared to the previous period and a 12.0% increase compared to 2025. Civil aviation passenger volume was estimated at 2.57 million, a 1.9% increase from the previous period and an 8.0% increase compared to 2025. Waterway passenger volume was expected to reach 1.93 million, a 5.5% increase from the previous period and a 31.4% increase compared to 2025. Today, return traffic will gradually increase across various regions, and national road traffic flow will significantly rebound. The Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security reminds drivers to plan their return routes and schedules reasonably in advance based on traffic flow and weather conditions.
