Unlike your login password that grants access to your account, this fund password specifically protects sensitive transactions. Here’s everything you need to know about establishing and maintaining this crucial security layer.

Understanding Your Fund Password

A fund password differs fundamentally from your login password and provides enhanced protection when you’re performing withdrawals or initiating security-critical operations. When activated, this password requires you to complete an extra verification step, creating a buffer against unauthorized fund transfers even if someone gains access to your account credentials.

Setting Up Your Fund Password

To establish your fund password, follow these procedures:

Phase 1: Access Security Settings Navigate to the Account & Security page by clicking the profile icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

Phase 2: Configure Your Password Select Advanced Protection, then locate Fund Password, and choose Settings. This is where you’ll initialize your security enhancement.

Phase 3: Enter Your Password Input your chosen fund password and confirm your selection.

Important Password Requirements:

Your fund password must be distinct from your login password
Use 8-30 characters minimum
Include at least one uppercase letter
Include at least one lowercase letter
Include at least one numerical digit

Phase 4: Complete Verification Perform the required security verification and click Confirm. You’ve now successfully activated your fund password protection.

Managing and Modifying Your Fund Password

To alter or deactivate your fund password, locate the Change or Disable option adjacent to your fund password settings.

Critical Notice: Following any password reset, you’ll experience a 24-hour withdrawal restriction on your assets. Plan accordingly if you need immediate access to your funds.

Recovering a Forgotten Fund Password

If you’ve misplaced your fund password, two recovery pathways are available:

Option 1: Within the Disable Fund Password interface, select “Having problems with verification?” to initiate recovery.

Option 2: In the Change Fund Password window, click “Forgot Fund Password” to proceed.

Both options redirect you to Reset Security Settings, where you’ll select the fund password reset option and confirm. You’ll then need to complete the required security verification to restore your password.

Processing Timeline: The reset review typically takes 1-2 working days. Check your registered email address for further instructions and verification requirements that may arise during this period.
