Deep Tide TechFlow News, February 21 — Aave team member Kolten recently clarified that there is some mixed information regarding the transition timeline between Aave V3 and V4. He emphasized that Aave V3 will continue to operate normally in the foreseeable future and will not be immediately replaced after the launch of Aave V4.

Aave V4 is the result of nearly a decade of experience and will be launched in a slow and responsible manner: initially limiting deposit caps, then gradually expanding scale, adding collateral types, and increasing use cases. The team is also developing a solution that allows liquidity to be migrated from V3 to V4 without closing positions, but this feature may not be available on the first day of V4’s launch.
