Abstract generation in progress

Raytheon, an RTX company, has received a contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to develop a domestic production capability for thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) wafers. TFLN is a critical material for high-speed, secure communications and advanced sensing systems, as well as various commercial applications like AI, data centers, and telecommunications. Currently, the international market for TFLN wafers is dominated by a single Chinese manufacturer, prompting this initiative to establish a secure domestic supply chain with partner G&H.
