U.S. Q4 actual GDP annualized QoQ preliminary estimate is 1.4%, compared to an estimate of 3.0% and a previous value of 4.4%. U.S. 2025 GDP growth is projected at 2.2%, lower than 2.8% in 2024.

In December, the U.S. core PCE price index increased by 3.0% year-over-year, versus an estimated 2.9% and a previous 2.8%. The core PCE price index rose by 0.4% month-over-month in December, compared to an estimated 0.3% and a previous 0.2%.

U.S. personal spending increased by 0.4% month-over-month in December, matching the estimate and down from 0.5% in the previous month.

Following the release of economic data, U.S. Treasury yields recovered from earlier declines, with the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield falling by 0.6 basis points to 4.069%. Nasdaq 100 futures declined by 0.4%, hitting an intraday low. The S&P 500 also dropped to a low, down 0.2%.
