Gelonghui February 20 — Meitu Inc. (1357.HK) announced that on February 20, 2026, the company repurchased 205,700 shares at a price range of HKD 6.04 to HKD 6.10 per share, totaling HKD 12,508,470.

This is Meitu’s second share repurchase this month. Previously, on February 16, Meitu spent HKD 20,015,100 to buy back 3.217 million shares at an average price of HKD 6.222 per share.

Public information shows that this is also the first large-scale buyback by Meitu since 2020. So far, there have been two repurchases totaling 5.274 million shares, with a total amount of over HKD 32.52 million. Analysts believe that this move demonstrates the company’s strong confidence in its business prospects and long-term development.

Meitu will release its 2025 full-year results on March 27. Previously, Meitu announced that it expects the net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company for 2025 to increase by approximately 60% to 66% year-over-year.

Goldman Sachs stated that Meitu’s products are evolving from beauty enhancement tools to AI image and video generation and editing applications. The market is expanding from consumer entertainment to productivity, and there is optimism about high income in the AI imaging field and Meitu’s competitive advantage in meeting user needs in specific scenarios.
