On the news front, on February 13, Cambridge Technology issued an official response on the investor interaction platform regarding recent online rumors. Concerning the rumors that “the company’s optical modules are delayed by the largest customer, Cisco,” and “performance below expectations,” the company clarified that the above information does not match the actual business situation. The earnings forecast shows that the company’s net profit attributable to shareholders for 2025 is expected to increase by 51.19% to 66.79% year-on-year, and the net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses attributable to shareholders is expected to grow by 64.62% to 81.81% year-on-year.

Huaxin Securities previously released a research report stating that Cambridge Technology’s financing funds raised in Hong Kong Q4 are mainly retained in the form of Hong Kong dollar foreign exchange. Due to the Hong Kong dollar exchange rate following the US dollar exchange rate downward, the foreign exchange net gains turned into losses. It is estimated that the foreign exchange loss for 2025 will be about HKD 81.61 million, which will have a certain negative impact on Q4 performance growth but does not change the overall trend of performance growth.
