Part of the EU sanctions on Zimbabwe lifted

The European Union Delegation to Zimbabwe issued a statement on the 18th saying that the EU has lifted the travel bans and asset freezes against individuals and entities in Zimbabwe, but also announced an extension of the arms embargo for one year. The statement, citing a news release on the EU official website, said that after an annual review of restrictive measures related to Zimbabwe, the EU decided to lift the travel bans and asset freezes, while extending the arms embargo on Zimbabwe until February 20, 2027.
