Breaking 27,000 trips, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge's single-day traffic volume during the Spring Festival sets a new historical high

Gelonghui, February 20 — According to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation, on February 19 (the third day of the Lunar New Year), the bidirectional traffic flow on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge exceeded 27,000 vehicles, setting a new single-day record since the bridge’s opening and reaching a new high (the previous record was 26,600 vehicles on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year in 2025). During the first five days of this year’s Spring Festival holiday (from the 28th of the lunar month to the third day of the new year), the bridge’s traffic volume reached 104,600 vehicles, averaging about 21,000 vehicles per day, a 24.49% increase compared to the same period last year.
