In Granada Province, Spain, aerial footage from the National Guard shows streets submerged and floodwaters entering the lower levels of some buildings. In the most severely affected Andalusia Autonomous Community, local interior officials stated that 14 rivers and 10 dams are in a “extremely dangerous” state. At least 3,500 people have been evacuated from the area, and nearly 4,000 households have lost power due to the extreme weather.
