On February 20th, the US December Core PCE Price Index Year-over-Year will be released tonight at 21:30, with the previous value at 2.8% and the expected at 2.9%. PCE stands for Personal Consumption Expenditures in Chinese. The Core PCE Price Index is a key indicator of inflation in U.S. consumer spending. It was first introduced by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis and was adopted by the Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) in 2002 as a primary measure of inflation.
