The $59,990 dual-motor all-wheel drive Tesla Cybertruck has cloth seats. It also has reduced towing as well as scaled-down suspension and audio-visual features vs. the $79,990 premium AWD Tesla Cybertruck. Both AWD variants have an estimated range of 325 miles.

Tesla also cut the downpayment on the premium AWD Cybertruck and the Cyberbeast by $550.

When Elon Musk unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019, the starting price was expected to be $39,990.

The moves should boost Tesla Cybertruck sales, which have been very weak, but could hit already-low margins.

More broadly, Tesla deliveries worldwide are likely to be down significantly vs. Q4, with weakness in all its major markets.

Tesla stock was indicated fractionally higher Thursday night on Robinhood.

TSLA stock edged up 0.1% to 411.71. Shares are down 8.45% so far in 2026, trading below the 50-day moving average but holding above the 200-day line.
