The declines in OP and ARB are mainly due to yesterday’s announcement that CEX’s L2 network Base is leaving the Optimism Superchain ecosystem to switch to a unified tech stack operated by Base, abandoning reliance on OP Stack, Flashbots, and Paradigm. According to CEX market data, U.S. stocks closed on Thursday with the Dow down 0.54%, the S&P 500 down 0.28%, and the Nasdaq down 0.31%. Most crypto-related stocks closed higher against the trend, including: Strategy (MSTR) up 3.39%; CEX (COIN) up 1.15%; Circle (CRCL) down 1.95%; MARA Holdings (MARA) up 6.13%; Riot Platforms (RIOT) up 4.71%; BitMine Immersion (BMNR) up 0.7%; SharpLink Gaming (SBET) up 3.03%.
