Deep Tide TechFlow News, on February 20th, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin announced that the synergy between FOCIL (Fork Choice Mandatory Inclusion List) and AA (Account Abstraction, EIP-8141) will significantly enhance Ethereum’s resistance to censorship. Vitalik pointed out that, when combined, these two technologies allow smart wallet transactions, pay-per-use fuel fee transactions, and even privacy protocol transactions to be quickly included on-chain through 17 randomly selected participants (proposers or inclusions), ensuring transaction inclusion within 1-2 slots even in adversarial environments.
Vitalik stated that the current version of FOCIL is 8 KB in size and can be expanded to larger capacities in the future, enabling most transactions to be submitted via FOCIL. This design ensures that even if 100% of slots are sold to hostile parties through proposer-builder separation, refusing to connect to the public transaction pool, all transactions can still be quickly included, effectively reducing the centralization power of proposers.
