On the technical level, Raijin's backend architecture is extremely complex. It needs to handle high-frequency off-chain Steam API requests and on-chain asset settlements simultaneously. Xai's AnyTrust protocol acts as a stabilizing force here. If every "achievement unlocked" data had to be posted to the Ethereum mainnet, gas fees would bankrupt the project team. The existence of the DAC (Data Availability Committee) makes this level of Web2-scale high-frequency data interaction possible. That is also why, so far, only Xai has achieved an "on-chain Steam."
